MEET THE TEACHER

We are excited to greet our new and returning dolphins at Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the school's gym.

Make sure you have completed registration with 2 proofs of residence for your student(s) to be placed on a class roll.

We will also have Not Your Average Joe food truck on site for a dinner option to purchase.

Our annual Bridges to Kindergarten will take place July 27th-29th from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. This helps ease the transition of starting school in August. This is intended for new students. Spots are limited, please register soon. You will be contacted by our Bridges teacher about your spot in the program.

Today, all students are receiving Summer Workbooks to help prevent the summer slide! Students are encouraged to do one page a day (or more) until school begins in August. Students were also given their login information for Clever.com to access instructional software like IXL, Reflex, and Sora to continue learning all summer long.

Hollinger's Island Community Center Bay Bash Saturday May 30th from 11:00-2:30 7143 Bay Rd. Free Entry All funds raised go directly to enhancing our park. Fun activities for the family.
Being awarded the Alabama State Department of Education Disney grant gave our PACE students an unforgettable opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom walls. Students were able to explore Disney parks while connecting their experiences to culture, innovation, and creativity. Thank you, Mrs. Terry for all your hard work applying for and coordinating this experience for our Pace students.

We were put under a tornado warning this morning. We quickly followed safety protocol and all students and staff moved to the hallway. The tornado warning has been lifted and all students are safe.
