First and Second grade students are working on their predictions skills in reading in the library this week.

First graders are reading A Color of His Own by Leo Lionni. First graders made predictions of what the book would be about before reading and made predictions of what would happen next during the read aloud. After reading, students predicted where the chameleon went next and what color would he be.

Second graders made predictions of what the book would be about before reading and made predictions of what would happen next during the read aloud. After reading, students predicted what Miss Nelson could do next to help the class behave instead of Mrs. Swamp coming.
